traveling companions will have a fun and relaxing day.
Start your day by touring your favorite Texas winery. Our wineries have produced
so many award-winning wines that it would be a surprise if a wine wasn’t your favorite.
You will be able to enjoy your favorite wines, even more, when your palette is fresh.
Be sure to poll your guests before planning your tours. Ask what type of wines they
prefer. You would hate to spend most of the day at wineries that specialize in red
wine when most of your group prefers white wine.
Bring a member of the winery with you on your tour. Being a member will enable
you to gain access to member-only tastings. Are you not yet a member of one of our
wineries? It is easy to sign up!
Don’t forget the food! Either pack a picnic lunch to eat at one of the locations or

Wine Trail. Dripping Springs is a small town located just 35 minutes from
downtown Austin. They are lucky enough to have three award-winning vineyards in

The Driftwood Wine Trail is located about 30 minutes from downtown Austin. Visit
their six wineries, including Salt Lick Cellars and the Driftwood Estate Winery.
Wine Road 290 is a trail that takes you a little farther from Austin than the other
tours, but you will not be disappointed as you visit the wineries around Johnson
City, Stonewall, and Fredericksburg. Wineries include Becker Vineyards, Chisholm
Trail Winery, and Last Draw Cellars.
